The unit is a highly structured, secured environment that is designed to promote independence, socialization, and quality of life, while maintaining the resident's dignity through a success oriented "typical day."
Our Specially Trained Staff
The Chestnut Knoll memory care staff works closely with the Alzheimer's Association to provide the best care for the residents. The staff is trained through a program specially designed by the Alzheimer's Association and is consistently updated in the latest methods and techniques in caring for the resident with Alzheimer's disease or other related dementias. This means that your loved one will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity in an environment that is kind and loving.
Chestnut Knoll Employee Receives Special Dementia Certification
Chestnut Knoll Personal Care and Memory Care, and its management group, Heritage Senior Living, LLC, are always looking to improve their residents' quality of life, especially, for residents in need of memory care.
Jennelle Jamison, director of staff development and resident care at Chestnut Knoll, has received her Trainer Certification in Teepa Snow's Positive Approach™ to Care. As a trainer, she will train others in the in the PAC philosophy, providing dementia-related awareness, knowledge and skill development in a classroom, community or support group setting.
