Diana Kramer, LPN

Received her nursing license in 1987. She has worked in Reading Hospital, doctor’s offices and skilled nursing facilities. She has served in nursing leadership positions in the skilled nursing facilities for the past 15 years. Diana directs and oversees all clinical care and services required by the residents of Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living. |
Kara Protzman, MSW, LSW

Kara is a graduate of Lock Haven University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University and is a Licensed Social Worker. Kara’s experience includes work in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities and hospice care. |

Linda Detweiler has over 30 years of experience in nursing and has an extensive rehabilitative nursing background. She is a graduate of the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Reading. Linda’s diverse background includes medical surgical, emergency room and intensive care nursing. She is certified in x-ray technology and has a certificate in nutrition and wellness. |

Curt Krassowski

He has specialty training as a pastry chef. Curt is Serve Safe Certified

Diane Heffner, CNA
Director of Activites
Diane is a recreational therapist for our community. She is a licensed CNA and has worked in therapeutic activities for the past 10 years. Throughout her career in healthcare, Diane has worked as a Physical therapy assistant and coordinator of therapy services in skilled nursing. |
Crystal Varady
Director of Environment Services
Crystal served as a housekeeper, since Chestnut Knoll opened in 2000. She was then promoted to the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry, until 2007 when she was appointed to Director of Environment Services. She has extensive training and knowledge in building maintenance and housekeeping and laundry operations for healthcare facilities. |
